The Roof Top Bar is quite nice.
Breakfast really was a big letdown for the price. The "Continental Breakfast Buffet" was a joke and everything else expensive. At a neighboring hotel there is a breakfast buffet for a reasonable price for Washington standards "All Inclusive" (and you are also asked if you want to have coffee or juice refilled).

The Zena Circle View Studio King offered a chic atmosphere with thoughtful touches, like complimentary chocolate-covered strawberries for my birthday. The staff's attention to detail made a nice impression, and I thoroughly enjoyed brunch at Figleaf. The layout can be a bit tricky for families, especially with delicate decorations at toddler level, and the shower lacks privacy for adult guests. The rooftop lounge was mysteriously unavailable .

Location, staff, CVS was open just infornt of the hotel for 24 hrs. Resturant and cafes available near the hotel in a walking distance with different variety.
They have party every night at the rooftop, and I was just below it. The base sound was just annoying, did not let me sleep well. When I complain they promise to lower it, but it almost the same. Next night, I have to reequest again, but this time they lower it.

Excellent view (if you are lucky to get a room not facing the inner yard....)
Be sure to have the print-out booking from www.Booked.net on hand especially if you have booked a room "with a view to Thomas Circle".... You have almost to fight for it. It doesn't matter how long in advance you have booked - you'll be firstly told that the hotel is sold out and that you can take only the room with the view to the inner yard (awful!). But if you stand your ground and if you're lucky enough after half a hour of discussions and persuasions you'll be put in a room you have booked. This happened both times I stayed in this hotel for the past three months.

Chic Ambiance with Excellent Service
The rooftop pool was a refreshing retreat, and I loved the vivid artwork throughout the hotel. Special shoutout to the staff, especially Ezekiel, Beni, and Dayshea, who were accommodating-make sure to tip them well for their hard work!

The relaxed atmosphere of the hotel and some of the staff. The roof top pool and bar. The room. The location.
The pool closed at 5pm which I think is too early especially at a city hotel where guests may have been on business all day or sightseeing and fancy a quick dip when they get back. This is the first hotel I have ever stayed in and had to pay for tea and coffee in the room - I was quite shocked by this.

Strongly recommend for short stay
Comfortable room, convenient location, with a lovely outdoor rooftop pool that had plenty of seating and a full bar for refreshments during our leisurely afternoons.
Nothing.

The staff was very helpful. Our room had unique furnishing and a very nice view of the city. Location was perfect - very close to the major tourist attractions.
A microwave in the room would have been nice
